Many law firms place client testimonials and case results on their website, twitter accounts and Facebook. The client testimonials are never signed by the client and the law firm’s case results section is usually the attorney describing his victory with little in the way of corroboration. Simply put, as a potential client you have no way to verify the accuracy or truthfulness of the firm’s case results. Attorney review sites are also useless because nothing prevents a law firm from writing their own reviews or enlisting the help of family or friends to write glowing reviews on the firm’s behalf.
